EUROPEAN UNION AND TOURISM

The travel and tourism industry is one of the most important industries in the European Union.  For employees, three institutions are of outstanding importance for policies in this industry:

1. The European Commission

2. The European Parliament

3. The European Economic and Social Committee

As well as these there is an annual European Tourism Forum.
The institutions and the Tourism Forum are more fully described  below.
