EUROSTAT Yearbook 2008 published
On 2 June, Eurostat published the Yearbook 2008. The yearbook gives an overview on the information available on the website and in the online databases of Eurostat. It contains information on the development of key indicators in the EU27, the Euro zone, the Member States and candidate countries in the last eleven years. The Yearbook consists of fifteen chapters, dedicated to different statistical areas. The first chapter deals mainly with demographic change. The other chapters cover major areas of statistics such as economy, education, health, living conditions and welfare, labour market, industry and services, agriculture, forestry, transport, environment and science and technology.
